As units arrived on scene it was evident that someone had shot at and into the residence. Bullet holes were found in the front bay window of the duplex residence and on the front door. Also, there were several marks on the brick exterior of the residence where rounds had struck it.

The resident of 219 Cascade St., Gregory Conley, informed officers that he was sitting on the couch and began hearing gun shots and glass shattering. He immediately went to the ground and when the shots ceased he called 911.

The rounds that went through the front window and door traveled throughout the residence going through multiple walls. One round that penetrated the front door went through the adjoining wall to the residence next door and became logged in a wall half way through the residence. The occupant of this residence is an elderly female who was sitting in close proximity to where the round came to its final resting place.

Numerous shell casing were located and recovered from the driveway of 219 Cascade St., and the incident is still under investigation.
